"Bereaved" (adjective): Suffering the death of a loved one; in a state of mourning following the loss of a relative, friend, or significant other. This term describes a condition characterized by grief and sorrow resulting from someone's death.
This is a club that no one wants to be in but is a community of people that are the most empathetic, loving and giving. United in our shared experiences of loss, we have discovered immense support and understanding within this circle of the bereaved and this is an outward expression of this.
